100% Natural Soy Wax

Our soy candles are made with 100% natural soy wax specially sourced from the USA. This wax is a pure soy wax that contains no additives and is FDA approved.

Most candles available in the market are commonly made from paraffin wax. This wax is obtained from petroleum, which is a non renewable resource that contains carcinogenic substances. These substances may also be released into the air during the burning process. On the other hand, soy wax is obtained from the soy bean plant which is a renewable resource and at the same time, by purchasing soy wax, you are helping to support the local agriculture and farmers.

However, not all soy candles are made equal. Some makers will use soy wax that has been blended with paraffin wax, or have unnecessary additives and chemicals added into it. So please always ask the manufacturer or read the label before making your purchase if you are unsure.

Non Toxic Scents

The fragrance oils we use in our candles adhere to RIFM (Research Institute for Fragrance materials) and IFRA (International Fragrance Association) standards for safety and purity. These oils do not contain parabens, phthalates or petroleum. They are also manufactured in Australia and are not tested on animals. 

Soy candles are able to hold onto the scent from fragrance oils very well which means that we do not need to overload the fragrance level for our candles. And because they also burn slowly, the scent is released gradually instead of an immediate and overpowering scent that may be experienced with other candles. This creates a more pleasant atmosphere for most people. 

Burns Cleaner

A soy candle burns cleaner with little to no soot compared to paraffin candles that tend to release a significant amount of black soot during the burning process. Our soy candles are also non-toxic. Therefore they do not release toxins into the air as they burn

Longer Lasting

Soy candles typically last longer than a paraffin candle of the same size because soy candles burns at a lower temperature. So although you may pay more initially for a soy candle, the longer lasting burn means you won't have to buy new candles as often. Soy wax is also biodegradable, which makes it an investment that also benefits the environment.
